£9000-10,000(19,000-21,000 full time equivalent, term time only)
An opportunity to take part in an established, dynamic project arising from an ecumenical collaboration of the churches on the Romney Marsh with close support from the schools involved.
Our vision for your role:
- To work within The Marsh Academy, supporting and developing the ethos and general spiritual life of the community there.
- To meet young people where they are, seeking to accompany them on their spiritual journey.
- To support the school in enabling every young person to reach their full potential, by exploring their own spirituality primarily through the Christian faith.
The Marsh Academy is one of Kent’s most improved schools with a roll of over 800. It is an inclusive school with a strong reputation in educational innovation and valuing every child. This post would suit a person with experience working with young people. This post has funding for at least two years and an active commitment by the local church community to support this project and school in prayer
